Some of you may have heard this from a friend, or some of you may have said it yourself. Either way, art isn't just about the principles of design. Art is the freedom of expression, and how you interpret a painting or drawing can influence other people. It may not be the Sistine Chapel, but if your message is getting across, you have accomplished a very important artistic quality. You have made someone stop, contemplate and come to a conclusion about what your work is saying. Think about it... that's pretty impressive.
